Polychloroprene adhesives

Contact adhesives made from polychloroprene rubber (CR) and resins, which give them a yellow or light-to-dark amber hue. Their main feature is that they’re not heat-activated, i.e., they require only cold bonding, which involves mechanical and not molecular processing. The materials to be bonded (leather products, non-synthetic fabrics, Tunit, microfiber, rubber, crepe, etc.) generally need only to be roughened prior to bonding.
